Reading The Last Ship by William Brinkley. Thru 2 chapters and I feel Im reading a navy manual. Boring. Explains into such depth (even why they do not have enough aspirins) that you wonder if it will ever get better. I was so desperate I skipped 1/2 way thru and its the same. Luckily the television show is so much better. First difference is in the book the world was plunged into all out nuclear war.. I like to read but this book really is stiff.
