PAC the Park! Ventures second annual Jazz in the Park will take place, 2-7 p.m., on Saturday, Sept. 6 Location Chris Hays Park at 4363 Illinois Avenue in Shreveport. Featuring outstanding live music performances by Alter Ego Jazz Band, Mocha Blue Blaze and Chocolate Smoke, Intuition and the Dirty Redd Jazz Band, as well as other dancers and performers, Jazz in the Park takes its place among the elite musical events in the city. Food vendors will be available selling barbecue as well as southern and Creole cuisine. Admission is free.
