Reading about the particulars of this case have me thinking that original judge and prosecuting attorney should face trial themselves, and until gross negligence leading to miscarriages of justice like this are punished in some way there will be way too many of them. We should have a much more robust system for appeal and investigation than we do and real consequences for those guilty of ignoring evidence that they find inconvenient. I hope she can sue somebody for big bucks at least.
