Reading in 1 and 2 Thessalonians today and was thinking about the fact that even though Paul was doing such a large job for God in spreading the Gospel, he also was physically laboring night and day in order to provide a living for himself that he wouldnt be a burden on others. The part I love about this is that I know of people, personally that are also working hard for the Kingdom, while at the same time physically laboring at jobs in order to provide for themselves and their families. We cannot say that we want to do ministry work only and not ever labor at physical jobs. There are seasons for all of us when we must put our hand to the plow in the physical world and earn our way, while at the same time having our hand on the plow for Kingdom Building. I encourage everyone that has gifts from God for the body, to find every way possible to use them even if you also have jobs in this world that you must take care of. It can often be a tough act to balance but it is possible with the grace of God and the leadership of the Holy Spirit.
