Reading in the Sentinel today that it would have taken an investment of just 1.5Million to improve ICC St Brecans which is a great community school! Why didnt this school receive investment many years ago when other schools in the city did? And heres a thought - Its going cost £100 Million to clean up the mess that was the mammoth illegal landfilling operation at Moboy and £3 million has already been wasted by the government in pursuing incineration plans that none here wanted in the first place. THATS £103 MILLION!!! YES PEOPLE - £103 MILLION (OF YOUR MONEY) Wake Up! Think about it like this - Just ONE TENTH of this wasted money! - public money! - your money! - could have been much better spent on - for example: COULD CREATE MUCH NEEDED EMPLOYMENT HERE! Investing in schools like ICC: £1.5 Million Strathfoyle Greenway connecting the village to the city with a cycle path and walkway: £1.2 Million Detox - Crisis Intervention Centre: £1 Million Funding for Foyle Search and Rescue: £500,000 Play Parks: £5 Million Support for older Peoples Projects: £1 Million Community Environmental Projects: £1 Million Supporting Homeless Support Projects: £1 Million WAKE UP PEOPLE - ON MAY 22ND DONT VOTE TRIBAL - VOTE INDEPENDENT NO 1!!!
