Reading my news feed it appears nearly everyone I am in contact with is a misanthrope. Conservatives, Liberals, punks, rednecks, soldiers....and everyone in between. Everyone seems to pretty much just hate everyone. I cant recall a time when I have seen more people rooting for the failure of our country just so they can be right in their beliefs. I started noticing it a decade or so ago. Everyone is so angry at everyone else yet they all have one thing in common. They bemoan the fact that the world no longer communicate outside of our smartphones, internet and tablets. That we live in a zombie land of social media everywhere you go idiots are busy looking at their stupid phones instead of talking to each other. Youd think everyone would be happy to not have to socialize with people they claim to so fervently dislike and disagree with. Or maybe everybody Hates each other because they feel secure talking shit to each other behind the wall of online posts as opposed to having to look somebody in the eyes while they tell them how much they dislike them? We all live in our own little fishbowl and cant seem to stop being suspicious and hateful of the fishbowl next to us. I dont know... It used to be United We Stand now it just seems like United We Cant Stand Each Other
