Reading the comments posted on facebook about the racial mishap has been quite dissapointing especially some of the comments made by people that I know and people that I thought was unbiased. It is obvious that some people are living in a cloud and do not realize what is really reality. I have been pulled over in Weslaco, McAllen, Sharyland, and even Mission for no reason. Recently, when unpacking groceries in my garage, a policeman knocked on my garage door (glass panel) to ask for ID from my son and I. We were taking food in, not bringing stuff out. He demanded ID. to prove I lived at my address. No sign of a break in. I could have gone ballistic. I didnt, Just thanked God that I had the good sense to ignore it and realize the ignorance of some people when it comes to race etc. Many of us need to look in the mirror and see who is looking back at them or get a genetic test. It would be quite interesting. I dont jog, lest someone think that I had just stolen something and was running away.
