Reading the economist....its commenting on the middle east conflict and the role of the US.....in a watered down fluffed up version of the state of the middle east..it says the US ..can claim some successes: oil prices are stable, Israel has never been so prosperous or secure.... ...... Success? They fail to mention the turmoil and oppression afflicting Palestinians....deaths..exile....torture.....at the hands of those who are prosperous and secure .... The US is essentially has their hands deep in middle eastern tragedy as our success lies in our assisstance of the oppressors....... We need a new definition of success from failure. ..success from tragedy. .....we are currently backwards in our definition of right from wrong.......
