Real Madrid now know their rival in the final for the League title. Barcelona Regal went through after beating Herbalife Gran Canaria. So the two finalists from last season are back, with home advantage going to Real Madrid thanks to first position in the Regular League. The first game will take place on Sunday 9 June in the Palacio de los Deportes (12:40 h). The team coached by Laso comes to the game unbeaten in the playoffs. Both the game in the quarter finals, against Blusens Monbus, and the one in the semis, against CAI Zaragoze, were played in the fast lane, with a 2-0 and a 3-0 respectively. Real Madrid have not reached the final unbeaten since the 1996-97 campaign, when they eliminated TDK Manresa and Festina Joventut in the first two rounds. It will be the fifteenth final the Madrid team has played during the ACB era, the second consecutive in the last 12 years. With home advantage in their favour, Real Madrid have won the title on six of the seven occasions.
