RealView Imaging Is Hiring! | Hardware & System Engineer A growing and dynamic start-up company, introducing a revolutionary multi-disciplinary 3D medical imaging solution, is looking for a Hardware & System Engineer Job Description: Be part of the core R&D team and responsible for defining and executing the System and HW requirements/solutions for modules within new state-of-the-art products. R&D activities will include FPGA design, custom electronic card design, and system design for EMC, safety, maneuverability and support of conformance testing. Independence with performing study and component level integration, as well as working closely with the SW and HW teams on a daily basis. Tasks: • Definition and execution of multi-disciplinary system level solutions. • Board design – considering aspects such as performance, EMI/EMC, fast I/O and power supply. • Component selection – search, study and analysis of datasheets and white papers. • VHDL/Verilog coding – FPGA design. • Integration skills – coding and debugging FPGA code, using scope/logic analyzer/FPGA tools, integration with SW and system level integration. • Motion control design and implementation. • System support during formal testing. • Documentation and technical literature support (in English), DR preparation. • Sub-contractors support/management (PCB layout, mechanical design, certification etc.) Minimum Qualifications: • B.Sc. in Electronics. • At least 5 years “hands on” experience in the industry. • Experience in board design. • Experience in FPGA design. • Experience with participation in development of multi-disciplinary products. • Experience with working with sub-contractors. • Ability to independently perform studies and component level integration. Desired Qualifications: • M.Sc. in System Engineering. • Working background in a large company (experience in technical documentation, testing, qualifications etc.). • Motion control design and implementation – big advantage. • Experience in medical device or medical imaging companies.
