Reality check / wine induced moment to reflect. So I have not - TopicsExpress

Reality check / wine induced moment to reflect. So I have not yet had a proper get together with ALL my important family members and friends .... YET but its happening slowly - Weve not yet had full packed special time with our girls but they have enjoyed time with their baby sister :) so for now thats all good. I can also say my post from a week or two ago is now obsolete. I recently posted how I was no longer proud to be from Leeds due to various violent acts I had seen on fb - I realize now that not only am I proud - but I am very lucky to come from Leeds and I am so blessed to have so many loving & amazing family members and friends, even though I have not yet got together with them all - but I will :) and Seeing the support gathered for the Tour De France over various parts of the city actually makes me proud, warm and fuzzy inside. Mr. Andrew Bird this made me realize you were spot on :) Im from Leeds and Im proud of that fact (actually I was born in Winchester but lets not split hairs) Since the moment we landed its been a non stop exhausting but fun packed ride - meeting our new baby niece, meeting up with my long term friend and her new baby daughter and catching up with said friend Ive not seen in 17 years (Lorna Wilmot) but picking up like I saw her only last week, and even her mum calling me Kaz and making me feel like I saw her last week (Lynne Wilmot) just warmed my heart. Having a brief catch up with various friends on Tuesday (very brief in some cases Donna Barry & Tracey Wainwright but hell girls We have 6 weeks so we have plenty of time ;) Having a very funny few hours with my lovely friend Zoe Bishop and her taking the total piss out if me - with my older girls (cue coat hangers) and our babies catching up with each other as they are best friends and couldnt wait to get together and whod think theyve been away from each other for 2 & 1/2 years - they are just amazing to see together. Having such a great night round Horsforth with my amazing hubby -,Graham Rayner and our great friends Friday night was spot on, I enjoyed every single moment of it. And gained a new fb friend - Michaela, and catching up and reflecting with Sarah Myers from Greenhill. Then tonight spending time with the Vause clan Elizabeth Ashby Vause and friends - been a part of your special night was fantastic, thank you for including us :) and seeing some familiar friendly faces there too Mr. Paul Gillatt & Mr. Phil Hall And meeting new friends too - So although our first week back is always non stop craziness trying to fit things in before my hubby flies back to America (:-( Its been top notch - utterly crazily exhausting but top notch Ok the wine has now got the better of me and I have to get up soon for Sunday lunch with my beautiful girlies and mummy So, as my friend Spud Hudson rightly says, Keep smiling :) love one another and good night
