Realized a few things in my quiet time tonight. #1. There is less than 6 months before Christmas vacation in the states in the snow, finally getting that white Christmas I have been dreaming of for several years now. #2. There is less than 9 days until I go on a renewal trip to debrief myself for 5 days in Malaysia at a special guest house for missionaries. Mountains, strawberry fields, rainforest and best yet, temps no hotter than 77f and as low as 48f! Then off to Singapore for some rec time. #3. This is the longest I have been abroad. In 2011, I had 2 trips back to the states. In 2012, I had 5 long months in the states. By the time I go back to the states in December it will have been 13 months abroad. Crazy, feels like it has only been a couple of months. I feel so much more at home here in Cambodia than I do in the states. Just weird!
