Realizing that I will never get around to anything as official sounding as a Blog Post I thought Id share a productivity tip with you. Its really very simple in nature, but I think most good solutions are. In your browser, setup tabs that open automatically when you open your browser. Heres the important part - set your To-Do, tracker, manager, One-Note, Trello, whatever you use for time tracking and project management as the FIRST tab. Then set your calendar as the SECOND tab. Finally, set email as the THIRD tab. Use this to mold your work habit. Use your Project list to drive WHAT you do, your calendar to tell you WHEN to do it, and only go to email when you need something that aids either of the former. Then schedule in times when you check email to see whats needed of you, but dont DO those things right away, instead put them in your Project List and do them in their fair turn by urgency and importance. Now YOUR priorities (not someone elses) are the ones that rule your time. (sorry for caps, no bold in FB posts)
