Really Tough. We shouldve beaten Puerto Rico. I saw The trend : impressive team play during the first half and Less intense play towards the end. All the 3 games showed a roller coaster ride, super excitement at first and struggle towards the end. Somethings wrong with the strategy, theres trouble in sustainability. I tend to look at the coachs style. Really, did the players get tired and drained? Why do I feel like they vacillated? I know they didnt and they fought until the end. ...there were lots of ball turn over.... they didnt play good defense...no one seemed to confidently dare and gamble on the ball...for fear of being blamed? Im not a 100% basketball fanatic, but I glance from time to time. I just wonder if the game plan came from coach or it was brought about by low team morale, or players poor confidence level. I just want to figure out. I cant help co-relating it with corporate scenario. Shit happens but one cant simply give in nor give up. In the end, the leader can only do whats best. The only real competition is yourself. How you play your game. We cant win all the time but we can always learn from all the ups and downs and continue scoring. I still admire and adore #gilaspilipinas. They may have failed but such failure is temporary. They just became tougher as a team. Its painful but they just got better. Its how they poured unwavering passion and energy. Life is about moving on, playing our games better and better each and every single day.
