Really glad to see childrens shows include Hairstylist as being a job, you have no idea how happy this makes me!!! Because it very well CAN be a successful career if you work hard. Ive had several occasions where kids ask me about my job because they are interested. Ive had a parent recently say (in front of me) Well, go to school and do something but you can do that on the side. Like for a hobby. I get HEATED. Those parents are simply clueless and sound like IDIOTS. Kind of want to bust out a Yo Momma joke. Little one I made up myself, Yo Momma only wishes she was a Hairstylist so she could afford your damn schooling. The one and only thing I will ever ever EVER be super defensive about and may actually sound a little cocky, is my JOB because its a JOB that requires WORK not PLAY! Only because I have busted ass along with other hard working successful Hairstylist the last 9 years to be where I am today. These comments we hear more often than you think. Im learning to just laugh and brush it off. Again thank you to whom ever decided to include this career in the shows. Very grateful to see it finally recognized!!!!!
