Really interesting how someone is having a go at dry needling therapists in the Core magazine because they havent got a degree! And how his own girlfriend is doing cosmetic acupuncture...without a degree in acupuncture! Cheeky isnt it? Especially when only qualified Osteopaths, chiropractors, physiotherapists and remedial massage therapists can do the dry needle training and most of these people have a degree and know an awful lot about anatomy and on top of that dry needling uses acupuncture needles but not as part of traditional Chinese medicine solely as a method to ease musculoskeletal pain by needling the Trigger points according to Travells work....RANT OVER! Ps: that same person wanted to teach me dry needling 6 years ago without any formal qualification or insurance for my patients afterwards...hum, double standards! I declined the kind offer at the time.
