Reasons to love Spain 4567899876 How to get a digital certificates 1) Trek to the town hall (conveniently close to bus and rail stations) 2) Scale four floors to 3) ...... get into the queue in the Dept of New Technologies (oxymoron) 4) ,,,,,,to be told that you should PREVIOUSLY have surfed to the website of the Royal Mint 5) Go home 6) Go to the website of the Royal Mint 7) Return to the town hall 8) Scale four floors to 9) ...... get into the queue in the Dept of New Technologies (oxymoron) 10) to be told that you should PREVIOUSLY have paid taxes and 11) ,,,,and be on the padrón 12) Abuse the funcionario 13) Get escorted out of the building muttering that you will NEVER EVER make the mistake of thinking that ANYTHING that involves any level of local government or a utility could EVER be simple in Spain. 14) Start at step one again preying that they have changed no requirements, that it is not a puente and that the Dept of New Technologies has any technology that works and/or any staff who will be prepared to assist so close to Christmas Spain! Whats not to love?
