Rebecca said to me last night Aww mum cant you just tell them in work that you have to come and see me singing in the year 6 leavers assembly? I told her I couldnt just do that. Then she said oh mum, I have a big part in this as well so I went to bed and had a dream that it was her birthday and Id forgot all about it, she would look at me and wait for me to say happy birthday.. but I just kept on doing something else, I woke up feeling like shit. So I pulled a sicky, I felt bad about that too but since leaving the assembly in floods of tears Im so glad I went. After the kids little performance, we all said goodbye to year 6.. All the girls who Rebeccas best mates with, I looked over to Rebecca and shes stood there like a lost soul sobbing her little heart out. I went over to her and she threw her arms around me and broke down, then I was stood there hugging her in the middle of the school hall crying my eyes out and shes not even the one leaving. God help me next year. Friggin ell I cant cope with this!
