Recall watching many of his programs, and all were both educational and entertaining. My favorites were always with Groucho, a great and genuinely intelligent and funny man. Cavett was a great interviewer, and he seldom pulled punches; hed have torn Ayn Rand apart. I did try, when in my teens, to read Atlas Shrugged. I dont think I made it past 1/3...if that. And I was a hard line conservative then.....but, I was taught to, and allowed to, think, and was already developing more moderate views of everything.
