Recap of the Human Services Club meeting on 3-28-14 Call to order at 12:03pm OFFICERS REPORTS Treasurer Mary Jenkins reports: $553.56 in our account. Historian Shannon Pike reports: Picture from our donations drive for Heritage Creek is on the LCC website. Vice President Tommy Downer reports: Club banner will take about 36 hours to make at Chase signs here in Kinston. This will be a 5x8 sized banner. The cost is a flat rate of $100. ADVISORS REPORT Mr. Moore has volunteered to donate the money for the banner. Also he is still waiting for the t-shirts to be finished by Lions Industries. NEW BUSINESS Tad Parsons wants to have an event for the 3M Project in the upcoming year. Will stay in contact with the President. Criminal Justice Club members Vice President Mr. Erick Waters, Secretary/Treasurer Mr. Octavius Howell, and Miss Jennifer Allen have asked to join us for our meeting to see how things are conducted in meetings and to help us out on future endeavors. Spring Joust games are dart game, tissue game, and corn hole. We will be selling raffle tickets for our fundraiser. The prize will be 2 gas cards.We can begin selling them on 4-1-14 Criminal Justice Club may have some prizes to donate for other games. We as a club can sell pizza in the student center on Fridays. The proceeds get to go in our account. The president Rhoda Ormond will contact Mrs. Shelley Barnes about availability. UNFINISHED BUSINESS Caswell Center is putting a picture of us in their volunteer services brochure. Club pamphlets are being handled by the SGA, we can change our paragraph in it and add recent pics. To see the pamphlet see Mr. Moore. Possible Caswell night at the end of the semester after spring break. Still waiting on list of graduates for finalization of the banquet.
