Received 6/6/13 from Schoharie County Planning and Development: The Governor recently announced additional funding for those home owners and small businesses impacted by both Hurricane Irene and Tropical Storm Lee as well as Super storm Sandy. Those who have not been reimbursed for all of the costs associated with rebuilding or recovering from these storms can find more information in regards to these programs at NYSandyHelp.ny.gov or by calling 1-855-NYS-Sandy. While the name is deceiving, those with flood damage from Irene and Lee are also able to apply for these funds. Home owners and business owners will apply directly online through the above mentioned website. These flood recovery funds are also available to farms.
