Received at the Resort this week - it made us smile, we couldnt help but share! Cape Schanck - by an anonymous poet : When asked to describe my thoughts of Cape Schanck. I am left with a brain that’s gone a bit blank. Yes; there’s sunshine, rain and clouds in the sky. But we’re still left with the question, exactly why. Why is it this little place, this business, this dome. Cause the many of people call this place ‘like home’. My favourite best bits of the Cape Schanck Resort. Is not the golf, the food or the gluten free chocolate torte. Its not the 9th, the 6th or even the 5 hole. Its not the driving range, the hills or facing the cold. Its not the views, great coffee, smiles all around. Its not the 4 kilometre walk or the drive into town. Its not the snuggly beds or breakfast selections galore, Its not the sound of the ocean as you open your door. It’s the people of Cape Schanck, the smiles around. The staff that make you feel safe and sound. That extra mile that they give everytime. Makes the journey from interstate worth the dime. From the kitchen, the restaurant, golf and reception. They take the extra step to make your stay exceptional.
