Received from the Director of Planning: (note, I found this in my spam box) Ms. & Majestic Sam, I would like to set up a time when we can sit down to discuss the Town’s regulations on animals and what options there are moving forward. I am available from 12:30 PM to 2 PM today, after 10 AM Tuesday 7/29/2014 and all day Wednesday 7/30/2014. Until we can sit down and discuss all the options available and determine the best course of action the Town will not require you to remove your son’s chickens or enforce fines. If we’re not able to find a solution that permits your son’s chickens to remain under the Town’s regulations or through a variance process we will work with you to determine a reasonable timeframe to locate the chicken a suitable home.
