Received the link to register for 275Fitlife Training & with a bit of sadness I had to skip reading it. If it werent for my relocation to Melbourne next saturday I would have definitely registered again. I joined the 275Fitlife family in October 2013 and I praise God for an amazing best friend Serahtima Kohlhase Pulepule who introduced me to this life changing program. My story goes like this - Ive always been the pretty chubby girl, it never bothered me though cos I always stuck to the psalms passage of how I am fearfully & wonderfully made lol I was the meanest yoyo dieter that never lasted 3 months. Jan2013 my new years resolution was to finally lose weight and I completely gave up after achieving close to nothing in a few months. In May2013 my church youth group was starting their 90day weightloss & fitness challenge, thought Id join them from the side and compete with my brother. Unfortunately 2 weeks later, my church family suffered a great loss from losing both our spiritual parents (rest easy Papa Samani & Mama Sapapalii Pulepule). I tried to stay on track but with amount of eating you do at funerals it was goodbye 90day challenge :( In July 2013 I went to Samoa and sprained my back on my 2nd day therefore spent most of my trip indoors answering my nanas million questions lol 2 questions pierced me and they were is your weight the reason why your back is like that? And who is going to carry your box when youre done here? I didnt get better until I got back to NZ beginning of August and thats when I decided to finally commit to something but I needed to start somewhere. I told a close friend at work what I wanted and he helped out by giving me nutritional tips. He cut my sugars, made sure that I was eating healthy and went for walks around town during our breaks. I lost about 10kgs after 1 month of eating well then he said it was time to get some physical training done. I totally forgot that I was sponsoring Jetts gym lol so I tried gym and only did a bit of cardio for like a week until Tima got me into crossfit and boxing, I hated every minute of training but I found myself slowly transforming and that got me a tad bit excited. Oct2013 - I registered for Fitlife without knowing exactly what I had signed up for, I just knew that it was working wonders for Tima, Selina & Katie lol 1st fitness test running to the gate was a mission. I remember I felt like jumping in the car and going home but I looked around me & realised that man if they can do it, why cant I? Eni was my trainer, although I hardly turned up to training cos of work I always tried to do some form of exercising after work, I didnt want to disappoint her and myself. She was awesome. By the end of 6wks I lost weight and improved in my fitness test. Surprisingly I ended up taking out the Mangere Fitlife but I didnt turn up to the dinner cos of my xmas work function. I have done 3 rounds of fitlife now and I have learnt more than fitness drills. The nutritional advice and word of the day have been soooo encouraging. Ill def be taking everything that I have learnt with me to Melbourne. My journey is still in progress, my story is still being written, my weight I still aim to continue losing and the inches i am continuing to train to shred abit more. Major thanks to the trainers of 275Fitlife, your dedication to support and train us has not gone unnoticed. May God richly bless you all. To my 2014 trainer Louana, thank you for yelling at me during those sets haha not to mention your cheerful smile :) But I gotta hand it over to Nessa my fitspiration for always being there me and the girls. I still remember u chasing me in the circuit cos I was walking and from that day on Ive always made sure to never walk during cardio time lol heres a before and after photo of myself, I hope to inspire somebody somewhere anywhere.
