Recent Attacks on Sarah Palin by Liberals There has been a recent attack by liberals against Sarah Palin seeking to make her look like a fool who doesn’t realize that Jesus is a liberal. I find it amazing that radical liberals will make such accusations that fly in the face of the clear truths of the Bible and the very words of Jesus that make such an accusation absurd. These are vacuous attacks. The liberals hope that people will accept their accusations by their own word without checking out who Jesus really is. Consider the following: 1. Jesus said, “I AM the way, the truth and the life, no man comes to the Father but by me” (John 14:7). 2. Therefore Jesus said again, “I tell you the truth, I AM the gate for the sheep. All who ever came before me were thieves and robbers, but the sheep did not listen to them. I am the gate; whoever enters through me will be saved” (John 10:7-9). 3. “In the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning” (John 1:1-2). What an audacious claim that Jesus would dare declare that He is God. Any first year Greek grammar student knows that the construction of the Greek indicates in verse 2 that Jesus, the Word, was “face to face with God,” indicating that Jesus is the mirror image of God the Father. He has to be when you consider we are told in verse 3 that through the Word, Jesus, “all things were made,” that is Jesus is God incarnate, the same one that created the world has visited the World on a mission of mercy and grace as we see throughout Scripture. 4. 23And He was saying to them, You are from below, I am from above; you are of this world, I am not of this world. 24Therefore I said to you that you will die in your sins; for unless you believe that I am He, you will die in your sins. 25So they were saying to Him, Who are You? Jesus said to them, What have I been saying to you from the beginning?…(John 8:23-25). The phrase “I am” clearly identifies Jesus with being God the Creator. When God sent Moses to Egypt on the mission of deliverance, Moses asked, “whom shall I say has sent me” and he was instructed to tell them, “I am that I am” has sent you. That phrase, properly translated from the Hebrew means, “I am the self sustaining eternal one.” Jesus identifies Himself as that same being, in the I am statements recorded in the gospel of John. That isn’t liberal in a world that says everyone will find their own way. Either Jesus was the greatest charlatan that ever lived or else He is truly the Incarnate God that has come to save his creation. 5. “Enter through the narrow gate, For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it” (Matthew 7:13-14). These statements are not a liberal find your own way teachings. The tell us the truth about what mankind is and what one must do to gain eternal life. There is only one way to heaven through the power of the cross and as the song says, “his banner over me is love.” Here is the eternal God of Heaven and earth with outstretched hands and the world often declines His offer of life. 6. Surprisingly, though Jesus teaches we are to care for our fellow mankind, He also strongly rebukes those who are shiftless and have no sense of making money work for good. In the parable of the wicked steward in Matthew 25:14-30, all of the stewards were given various amounts of money based upon their abilities. Each man with the exception of one, put the money to work and made it grow. The one who did not, buried it, and when the master came home and required an accounting of each man’s actions with respect to what they had been given, two of the stewards were commended for putting the money to work and making a profit. The third many complained to the master, saying he was a hard man, so he hid the money and had nothing to show except for the same amount that had been given him. The master called the man “a wicked lazy servant,” and told him that he should at least have invested the money with bankers so that he (that is the master) could have received it back with interest. The money which the master had given this servant was taken from him and given to the man who was responsible and knew what to do with it. Then Jesus said, “For everyone that has will be given more and he will have an abundance. Whoever, does not have, even what he has will be taken from him” (Matthew 25:29). This is just the opposite of what the liberals teach. The liberals believe that to whom much has been given, much should be taken. The Bible teaches that those in need are to receive gifts from those that have, not be robbed by money hungry politicians that know this will make them be loved by the shiftless in our society. There is so much more that can be revealed as to who the real Jesus is, but he certainly is not the one that the liberals want to create for you. These attacks against Sarah Palin are unfounded when one considers how totally foolish the claims are by these liberals. It is simply name dropping with psychological manipulation. Perhaps, they must think that people that know the truth will idly sit by and let them lie. So much for who the real fools are in these attacks against the Governor.
