Recent events have given me pause for thought. There are three (basic) verboten categories, whether posted on social media, uttered in weekly addresses to the Universe or in private conversation with oneself. The first category (category, not where the category is verboten) concerns matters of seriously incorrect political incorrectness. I won’t say anymore. The second involves genuinely insensitive comments, whether spoken or written. We all know what those are, so there’s no need for further comment about them. The third category is touchy and slices very close to home. Quite honestly, the primary reason I post anything on FB is because I don’t want anyone else seeing me talk to myself about the third verboten category. That’s why Skype with an audio pickup and a camera is out of the verboten question.
