Recently I did mastering for a friend of mine who does experimental music (children below 13 rejected ))) ) So this is a duo (kbds and guitar). This is an X/Y recording. You will get the source and the result under the link. Any opinions/remarks are welcome. My chain is: Q1 (no gains/cuts) just to get proper gain staging S1 to add some rotation (correcting image balance on the two instruments due to incorrect mic placing) Stock Cubase expander (automated to handle some very low-volume problems, dont mind it )) LoAir to add some missing sub (there is no bass in this duo, adding some low end for meat) C6 (compressing to remove annoying 100Hz from the guitar and expanding to enhance high end of the kbds, + putting some mild compression to midrange for medium control) Lexicon LXP plate to add a subtle room VBC FG-MU to compress the top 1,5 dB with long attack and release BX digital just to mono everything below 90 Hz L2 at -7 dB with ceiling -0,3 dB SSL X-ISM meter to check the output. https://drive.google/folderview?id=0B-5xIq5pBt4Wb1ZPU0ZWYnBSc2M&usp=sharing
