There are many achievers who inspire us beyond hope that the challenges of the present day are surmountable and they are wrappings of opportunity that is meant to birth the champion in us. There are quite a number of them but let me make reference to Oprah Winfrey. She was born into abject poverty, criticized, segregated and abused. As a growing child she lacked parental care and all the necessities of childhood. Not much was expected from her by both members of her family and the society at large but today, she is the most celebrated, decorated and influential black woman in the world. What is that challenge you are facing that holds you from pursuing that desire, that dream of yours. Is it fear of criticism, fear of failure and what have you? Understand one simple truth that the will to succeed is a potent force that overcomes confronting challenges. When this will drives you; you begin to create a path for yourself that puts you ahead your peers. Critics only stay off men that stay static and do nothing about their desires. The challenge you are facing right now is meant for your decoration and not your destruction. But for this to become a reality, you must be courageous enough to pursue your goals by putting actions behind them irrespective of what anyone says about you. Look beyond your present situation and see a glorious future for yourself. (Rom. 8: 18). You must adopt a success mentality. As a man thinks, so is he (Proverb 23:7). It didn’t say as others think of you so you are. This means therefore that you must adopt the mentality of what you want to become in other to lay hold of its reality. You may have attempted pursuing your dreams and desires but failed after several attempts. The fact is there is nothing like failure, they are simply lessons and every failed attempt strengthens your courage to fulfilling that desire the creator has deposited in you which is meant for your trophy and His glory. Keep doing the things that scares and you will kill that fear in you. You become a product of your choice and not your circumstance or what others say about you. In other words, no one blames you for where you were born, where you grew or your background but what you become which is entirely your making, good or bad. Choose this day what you want, success or failure, a victor or a victim. It’s your choice. Take a look at the lives of those that have been where you are now and get inspired. The list is endless. You too can become a reference point. All it takes is courage and right attitude. You have a dream, you have a goal, and you have a desire, get up and start working. Have that hunger for victory; charge your anatomies and begin making plans to succeed and God will direct your path. Get inspired and stay encouraged. You will make it.
