Recently I found myself caught up in how small my inner circle had become. So small that some days it looked like a dot of just me. And I allowed that feeling to overwhelm me and distract me, leaving the doors open for depression and loneliness to come in. Again both of those spirits were distractions and hurdles between me and where I am going. When you focus more on the life that others look like they are living and compare it to your own with blurred and messed up vision, then you will be distracted. Comparison is the thief of Joy, with the only exception being comparison to Christ. Dont let the Enemy sneak in and steal your joy by whispering in your ear that you dont have enough friends, or no one wants to hang out with you, or no one remembers you. The Devil is a lie and the truth isnt in Him! If you are walking in your purpose then those in your circle know that you are up to something and they are up to something too. Therefore time is precious and when you all find time to spend together, cherish it. And when you arent able to find that time, lift each other up in prayer and communicate when able. Because the enemy feeds on silence and insecurities. Also if nothing else, remember that you have Friend in Christ who is closer than a brother. He loves you so much that He laid His life down just for you to be able to have a relationship with Him. So if you are desiring them, and He is desiring you, where should you go first?
