Recently I lost a piston on my CP Industries Sphynx. I called CP and they said their piston order wouldnt arrive until late August. The plant manager told me, we dont sell a lot of these pistons so we dont stock many. Every so called reseller didnt have the piston I needed either. Trip this friday and thought i was boned. Low and behold that good guy at LED came up with an alternative solution. Spacer plate, ESR piston and a new dome. BAM back in business. So the moral of the story is if you plan on buying a CP Industries cylinder ensure you keep a spare piston on hand but if you fail to heed my warning then there is an alternative to get you back out there riding.
