Recently you may have heard people talking about Social Bonds - A new way that the Government, Social Service Providers, and Investors from the philanthropic and business communities, can work together to get better outcomes. This new way of working is already being trialled overseas, with promising results. The Government has agreed the time is now right to pilot a Social Bond here in New Zealand. Social Bonds Pilot is Open to Ideas from any Social Outcome area A Registration-of-Interest process (ROI) for providers who would like to be part of the pilot is about to kick off!!! The ROI is being led by the Ministry of Health on behalf of all Social Sector Agencies, however, it is open to Service Providers making a difference in any social outcome area - not just for Health services. For example, Social Bonds overseas are being used to address issues ranging from Reducing Re-offending and Unemployment, to Improving Outcomes for Children in Care. Want to find out more?
