Recipe of the Day: Green Brown Quinoa Lentil Salad Ingredients: •Dressing: •1 tsp lime zest •1/4 cup fresh lime juice •1 Tbsp olive oil, or more to taste •1 tsp agave or maple syrup •1 tsp dried basil leaf •1 tsp Braggs liquid aminos or soy sauce •1/4 tsp salt •1 tsp fresh-ground black pepper Savvy Vegetarian Facebook Page •Salad: •2 cups cooked quinoa •1 cup cooked and drained brown lentils •1 cup chopped baby spinach •1 cup shredded leaf lettuce •1 cup cucumber, peeled and cubed •1 cup avocado, cubed •1/4 cup chopped parsley •2 Tbsp pine nuts Directions: Protein Ebook 1.Mix the dressing and set aside 2.Mix together the quinoa and lentils in a bowl.
