Recipes for Marla Croyle;) 1 can salmon drained and cleaned. Mash salmon with folk in the bottom of medium sauce pot, add four to five cups whole milk and 1/4 stick butter or margarine. Bring to a slow stirred boil. Add salt and pepper to taste. We eat it with crackers or cornbread. Coke Cola cake. Combine 1 cup Coke cola, 1/2 cup oil, 1 stick butter, 3 tablespoons cocoa powder in sauce pot slowly bring to a rolling boil. Turn off heat. In bowl mix 2 cups sugar, 2 cups plain flour, 1/2 teaspoon salt. Add in boiled mixture then add in 2 eggs, 1/2 cup butter milk, 1 teaspoon baking soda, and 1 teaspoon vanilla flavor. Pour mixture into a 9x13 cake pan. Bake at 350 for 20-25 minutes. For frosting: In same saucepan melt 1 stick butter. Add in 3 tablespoons cocoa powder, 1/4 cup Coke cola. Once melted together add 6 tablespoons milk, 1 teaspoon vanilla flavor and 1 pound confectioners sugar. Melt well. Bring cake out of oven and pour warm frosting over. This cake is wonderful warm, but it is the BOMB the next day.
