Recommencement of Forestry Operations at Mt Macquarie Forestry Corporation of NSW wishes to advise residents and forest users of ongoing harvest and transport operations from Mount Macquarie State Forest near Carcoar NSW. These works are part of the sustainable plantation cycle to grow, harvest and re-establish pine plantation within the central west of NSW. Increased activity will result from these operations until April 2015. Specifically residents will observe timber transport vehicles moving to and from these operations along Mt Macquarie Road, Neville Road from Mt Macquarie Road to Hobbys Yards Road and Hobbys Yards Road from Neville Road to Blayney. These vehicles are restricted to 80 km per hour when unloaded and 60 km per hour when loaded.
