Recorded by Glenn Millers Army Air Forces Training Command Band (and not the band of the AEF, as stated below) on June 2, 1944. This is the string section of the band playing the second movement of Dvoraks New World Symphony, also used as the basis for a hymn entitled Going Home. Dedicated to the memory of the people of all nations whose sacrifice brought victory in the global war against fascism.
