Recovery from knee replacement is not for the faint of heart. Susan is a wonderful caretaker, but man, getting up unassisted, shuffling to the bathroom and then to the Starchair Enterprise in the living room felt like a labor of Hercules. Compared to the suffering of others this is as nothing, but it is still exhausting. FB is an enjoyable companion, but it too can be exhausting in its own way. There is heavy lifting in our collective future, i hope we are up to the task. If not our great grandchildren are doomed.
