Job Description: As an MDA Recruiting Coordinator, your job will be to recruit/provide an opportunity for participants within the business community to network with each other and have a lot of fun, while helping individuals that are afflicted with muscle disease attend summer camp and/or raise additional funds for MDA research. This Recruiting Coordinator needs to be a goal-oriented position that will allow you to assist the MDA in Fighting Muscle Disease. For the sales and marketing oriented recent college graduates it will enhance your resume and potentially improve your marketability … all the while getting paid a competitive hourly wage with the opportunity to obtain a performance based bonus. Recruiting Coordinator Responsibilities: Recruit local business community leaders throughout a defined geographic area and invite them to participate in a local fundraising event called a MDA “Lock Up”. The recruiter’s only responsibility is to recruit the participants. MDA provides the recruiters with the leads, scripts and necessary training and coaching. MDA “Lock-Up” is a national jail theme fundraising event where business and community leaders have fun by agreeing to become “jailbirds” in a mock jail at an upscale hotel or restaurant and raise “bail” money through their business and personal contacts. Recruiting Coordinator Compensation & Logistics: $12.00 per hour with performance Bonus 32.5 hrs.
