Redcliffe and surrounds crime - Scarborough Offenders snuck into a home on Shea Street around 12:30am on March 3rd while occupants were awake. Its unknown if anything was taken. Between 3:30pm and 4:45pm at Adams Street a white and orange Stihl whipper snipper was stolen. A man about 170cms tall, dark hair, black shorts, blue shirt and about 40-45 years of age was observed lurking in the area at the time. A blue Giant Cypress bike was stolen from a property on Prince Edward Parade. A blue profile helmet was also taken. It occured between March 7th and 8th. Newport A business at Newport Plaza, Griffith Road was broken into overnight between 5pm on Friday and 8:45am on Saturday. Redcliffe Thieves stole a 2013 Toyota Hilux from a home on Gale Street between 7:30pm on Sunday and 5:50am on Monday. The car has number plates 949TDP and a large toolbox in the tray. Offenders stole a grey jetski cover from a home on Shields Street between March 2nd and March 3rd. Offenders stole plates 067HKQ from a vehicle parked at a house on Clark Court. It occurred between 4pm on February 26th and 8:30am on March 5th. Kippa-Ring Offenders stole electrical gear from a trailer on Hercules Road between 3pm on March 3rd and 6:30am on March 4th. A vehicle parked at Peninsula Fair Shopping Centre had its front registration 865SVC stolen. Rothwell Offenders stole various items including keys from a house on Woodland Street. It occurred between 6pm on March 3rd and 7am on March 4th. Clontarf A string of registration plate offences continues on the Peninsula with a set stolen and replaced with other plates on Brewer Street. The stolen plates read 247MEP. A person was seen crouching near a car on on 5:05pm last Wednesday. Woody Point A teenage girl was charged after being intercepted at Westfield, North Lakes. Its alleged she was in possession of property stolen from an address on Arthur Street. Anyone with information should contact Crime Stoppers. Not all crimes are listed.
