Redemption realities2- Sin is the offence. Death is the ONLY penalty! For the wages of sin is death- Romans 6:23 KJV [23] For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. We have often thought other things can suffice. Living right is good for testimony, but in no way meets the demands of justice. Repentance with tears is good but is never going to acquit you before God Faithful church attendance is desirable but has no effect on the judgment of sin. Philanthropy and church donations are taught in scriptures but neither has enough weight to tilt justice in our favour. ONLY DEATH will do! We have had some Christian literature movies and vision accounts that seem to leave this out of their scripts. They show a pictorial scale of weights. Our good deeds weighed against wrong deeds. Where the latter weighs against the former, you are sent to hell. This scale is often ready when a man dies. He now has to see if his earthly deeds qualify. We must quickly review this misinformation. Its very fatal. As a matter of urgency, we must have part two! Those scripts are made after the law. We must show the role of Christ’s death- His cross (not ours)! His death is our Life Romans 3:23-26 KJV [23] For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; [24] Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus: [ 25] Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God; [ 26] To declare, I say , at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus. His death is our acquittal, satisfaction for justice! Our deeds dont determine our stand before God, not before now, now or forever! Christ is Loves eternal offering, once and for All Hebrews 10:10-14 KJV [10] By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all . [ 11] And every priest standeth daily ministering and offering oftentimes the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins: [ 12] But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God; [13] From henceforth expecting till his enemies be made his footstool. [14] For by one offering he hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified. Take note of the word forever.It means eternal . Eternity is determined by the Gospel! He that believes will NEVER perish- John 3:16 KJV [16] For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. Never perish ! John 10:28-30 KJV [28] And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. [29] My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Fathers hand . [30] I and my Father are one. Believers can NEVER be removed from the Saviours grip . The Father doesnt let believers go. They are un snatch able ! It is not ours to determine! The penalty paid determines what we get! For the gift of God is Eternal Life through Christ- Romans 6:23b! Heaven isnt a reward! It is a gift. God gave us His kingdom freely . Luke 12:32 KJV [32] Fear not, little flock; for it is your Fathers good pleasure to give you the kingdom. Its His will and pleasure . We are in already . Colossians 1:12-14 KJV [12] Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light: [13] Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son: [ 14] In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins: We got in by His blood.His redemption ! Ephesians 2:5-6 KJV [5] Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;) [6] And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus: We are seated there now . In Christ. No one qualifies for it, Jesus is the Way John 14:6 KJV [6] Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. His death, the how Hebrews 10:19 KJV [19] Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus, Thanks be unto God who eternally qualified us through the sacrifice of His son(col1:12-14)! Blessed? Say, Christ alone is justices demand, His death alone is judgment fully discharged! I stand eternally acquitted in Christ Alone! Jesus is Lord,We win!
