Redhead BlackOut X300 Ground Blind basspro Measuring 90 hub-to-hub and 76 tall this very rugged 600D fabric shell ground blind has room to make hunting a family affair. I may be exaggerating a bit but, there is plenty of room in this X300 Blind for any bow hunter or rifle hunter, big or small. I would say if you are into filming your hunts and take along a camera man and equipment then this is your blind. Beginning with the huge door that opens either left to right, right to left or can open up to a wheelchair size opening making this ground blind a very nice handicap accessible blind as well. Zippers are pretty quiet for a ground blind and you can set up your shooting window in any arrangement and I mean any arrangement. There is 300 inches of shooting area covered with mesh. I would imagine with a rifle it would be okay to shoot through but, as a bow hunter I would not shoot through the mesh. Inside are two gear pockets for your gear and the built in skirt helps contain some of your scent to inside the blind. Although not scent proof the blind I feel always does a great job to help contain your scent along with proper scent control on your part. The blind is not sold as waterproof so dampness can get through depending on the amount of rain or moisture. I sat through a day of light rain and may have gotten hit with a few drops but, nothing got soaked or even fairly wet. The 600D fabric is what is used on hunting boots and is very durable and you are not going to penetrate the shell with limbs and it would take a sharp knife to cut the material. On the outside the X300 has 3 exterior brush straps for hanging limbs and brush from your hunting area on to the blind to help blend it better into the surroundings. 4 guy ropes and 8 stakes are included and help to stabilize the blind greatly. My blind sat for a month before getting to it and the owner of the property said they had up to 60 mph winds and he had checked on the blind and it had not budged. The blind comes in a nice bag where the blind fits easily into it and storage for your stakes and guy ropes is provided. The padded strap makes it easy to carry out to your favorite hunting spot. Overall, I find this blind roomy, durable and well-made. It has all the room and options for any hunter or even photographer to shoot or photograph any animal from. The MSRP on the BassPro website is $279.99 and is priced better than some of the competitors.
