Reflecting on encounters of sharing the Gospel with strangers over the past week, its been sweet how thankful many have been to hear genuine concern for their souls. People in a coffee shop, in grocery stores, and on the street... when they realize you are talking with them for no other reason then genuine belief that what Gods Word says is true, The times of ignorance, God overlooked, but now He commands all people everywhere to repent, because He has fixed a day when He will judge the world in righteousness, and of this Hes given assurance to all by raising Him from the dead, (Acts 17:29-30), and have genuine concern for where they will stand on that day. Of course, there are always others who will see you as fools for Christ, and thats to be expected (1 Cor 1:18-21). But since Christ has died for them too (1 Jn 2:2) lets not keep the Gospel to ourselves, but speak up and give them a fighting chance to hear the Gospel, to repent & believe, to be saved! Lets imitate Paul and endure all things for the sake of the elect (2 Tim 2:8-10).
