Reflection - I cannot help but to reflect on my life, and how wonderful it would have been to be born a genetic girl and had the normal upbringing as a girl and had grown into womanhood. I would not have had the guilt of what society burdened us with having. Being born a male, being female gender in my head, but being pressed into a form that was NEVER right for me. Those that think this is something we chose are ignorant and cruel. Who in their right mind would choose to be this (trans), in a gender binary society? They are absolutely out of their logical minds to believe such a thought. The pain some endure is unbearable...some even end their beautiful life, missing out on this wonderful world. We were pushed into positions and situations that we did not fit in, and expected to perform or be emasculated. Dating, marrying, and raising children, all under a false identity forced on us by mere birth. Continuing in the ruse, living a secretive life of yearning to be that person we really were. The fallout is usually tragic...marriage divided, children broken, and our place in society ending in a shattering climax of sorrow. So you see...those that are Trans, or LGBTQ for that matter, having dealt with our diversity...are to be respected. These brave souls, screaming to be themselves, act not out of selfishness, but out of the will to SURVIVE! Our society is coming along with some understanding of this now, but it is a slow, steady climb. Be strong in your resolve to be a happy and productive member of society, in both life and love.
