Indeed, my Lord is Subtle in what He wills. Indeed, it is He who is the Knowing, the Wise. My Lord, You have given me [something] of sovereignty and taught me of the interpretation of dreams. Creator of the heavens and earth, You are my protector in this world and in the Hereafter. Cause me to die a Muslim and join me with the righteous.’ ” [12:100-101] SubhanAllah! Can’t help but wonder how Yusuf (álayhissalam) must have felt when he saw his dear father and the rest of his family in front of him after all those years of separation, hardship and tests. Can’t help but wonder at his super strong eeman, patience & steadfastness during those difficult years and then his feeling of sheer gratefulness & love for the One who was with Him all along; Al Lateef Al Áleem Al Hakeem! :’) This is the eeman & love, we should be working for. This characteristic – of being patient with the Decisions & Will of Allah, is what we should strive to learn.
