Even though the goal I set was reached if anyone wants to support the blankets for the refugees I will leave the link open for a bit longer as the need is so great and many have requested to continue so that they may also join in the reward of this noble cause. If anyone wants to contribute the blankets can still be purchased and sent as we still have many families in need and we are still seeing deaths from the extreme cold. As winter approaches the families who have become refugees on the Turkish border due to the conflicts in Syria do not have this luxury and winter is the worst time for them. Last year saw the death of many of our brothers and sisters a large portion of them children due to the intense cold. I want to help do something to ease that situation this year in sha Allah. I am partnering with a few aid groups positioned within these refugee camps to provide families with thermal blankets that will in sha Allah help families stay warm this winter. These thermal blankets cost approx 15-20$ each and I want to help donate 1000 of them to our brothers and sisters a total cost of 15-20k dollars. When we reach the goal they will be purchased and shipped to the organizations to be distributed to the most needy. I am beginning this project with 500$ from myself and my family.
