Regarding my post last night about my pediatricians office offering the HPV vaccine to my 11 year old son..... it appears that I have been branded hysterical. Colleen writes, Too emotionally opinionated. I like my Conservativism with factual evidence Too much Mommy hysteria. Dear Colleen: I am sorry you find me a non-factual Mommy, riding the wave of hysteria. I take it as a compliment that you think of this as a legitimate news site (not that the news is legitimate anymore), but as a reminder, this is the page of one Christian, Conservative Mom who has suffered under the baloney of the current regime, who is alarmed for her childrens future & is here to speak up. If you want legitimate news stories with factual evidence, please see 95% of the posts I put on this page. Stories Ive gleaned from reputable sites with links. When I write an Op Ed piece, putting down my thoughts, my sarcasm, my frustrations & my opinions, you must take those posts for what they are. They are MY opinions. I do not write them with the intent that 100% of my readers are going to agree with me. We are all different! Conservative or not. I am entitled to my own opinions & I just happen to have a public page that I share those opinions on. While it is still a semi-free country, you are semi-free to agree or disagree with me. On the subject of the HPV vaccine, if you want factual evidence, then I suggest you go out there & do your own research on it. Ill provide a couple of links to get you started. The first link is one provided by a reader. Japan banned the vaccine in 2013. The second link is about the 12 year old girl who suddenly died after having the vaccine. There is plenty more out there if you bother to do your own research. As for the emotional Mommy hysteria bit... I take that as a compliment too. I love my children dearly. They are irreplaceable. They are the most meaningful things I have done with my life. I will give my all to them. I will be fully engaged in their lives (or emotionally opinionated as you put it). I will try to make the most educated decision for them each step of the way. Thats just me & its just my personal opinion. I dont condemn anyone else for the way they raise their children. My business is the raising of my own children & I choose to sometimes share my journey on this page. You are free to agree or disagree, but please take it for what it is.
