Regarding some people who argue against infant baptism by saying the child has/had no say in the matter, it is the act of the parents. How about this response: Jesus healed the Syrophenician womans daughter apart from the childs will/desire or presence. If Jesus so willingly healed many people at a distance, will He not even more so save those who are brought to Him in the waters of Holy Baptism? If our Lord wills to do the lesser work of healing, surely He will be as He promised, the greater work of bestowing eternal life freely.
