Regarding the Second Amendment: The vast majority of people who shoot other people are not law-abiding citizens who were suddenly overcome with the urge to shoot someone. They are criminals. They are bad people. They will own guns whether they are legal or not. The guns they own now were probably not acquired legally. When you remove the ability of citizens to protect themselves by owning guns, you give the criminals who own them illegally free-reign to use their guns to threaten or take the lives of the citizens who you have rendered defenseless by taking away their guns. Outlawing guns will not make them disappear - it will simply take them away from people who have a constitutional right and a personal duty to use them to protect themselves and those they love! Remember folks, when seconds count the police are only minutes away. Its not their fault, thats just reality. This is strictly my personal opinion. - Steve Oran
