Regardless of ones subjective view of the reason for which this man was beaten, this is a clear example of a disregard for the teaching of Jesus which commands both Love one another as I have loved you and Do unto others as you would have them do unto you. It also a gross violation of several Quranic teachings which mandate respect for the dignity of other regardless of their offenses and sins or of others subjective opinions. Basically, this is NOT a act of justice but a travesty and an offensive affront to this mans dignity. Before you attack me for my defense of his human dignity, ask yourself if this is what you would want to be done unto YOU were YOU in his place? Let you who without sin, in this case, throw the next lash of the whip!
