Regardless of your opinion of Russell Brand as a man or a comedian its important to remember its the message and not the messenger thats important. Today I once again opened The Sun to a smoke and mirrors article about Nigel Farage claiming Russell Brand has a stylist to comb his chest hair. Last week they were claiming he was a hypocrite for supporting people getting kicked out of their homes when he pays a fortune to an agency that legally dodges certain taxes. They also claimed that a certain percentage of their readers claimed he wasnt funny. Both articles failed to report properly on any of the causes he was there to discuss. Russel Brand may well be hypocritical. He almost certainly has a stylist. His comedy is definitely not for everyone. None of this matters. The Sun and Nigel Farage are a perfect example of how the media and politicians side step questions completely and try to slander peoples names and render their opinions worthless. This makes me think that its people like Russell Brand we probably should be paying attention to and not a newspaper of the people owned by Rupert Murdoch and a racist career politician interested in lining his pockets. Dont believe the truth ;)
