Region II Human Services is now accepting registrations for Common Sense Parenting class. The class will be held on Monday evenings starting October 13, 20, 27th and November 3, 10 and 17th from 6:00-8:00 PM (Central Time). The class will meet at Heartland Counseling, 110 North Bailey, North Platte, NE. The cost of the class is $10.00 per person/couple for all 6 classes; a sliding fee scale is available. Children should not attend the class. Common Sense Parenting is a practical training program that gives parents effective discipline skills and helps them be more positive with their children. The program’s content is adapted from the Girls and Boys Town Family Home Program. Practical techniques, guidelines and suggestions will be taught and practiced. This class is ideal for parents with children six to sixteen years old. **Class completion certificates will be provided to those who attend all classes.
